FOUNDER

Nathan J. Mayes is an Atlanta, GA based creative that hails from Bridgeport, CT. He officially set his roots in ATL after graduating from Morehouse College in 2006 where he received his B.A. in Music (Composition).

In 2012, Nathan founded Mayes Media and Consulting, LLC providing various Arts centric services. In 2015, he picked up his first camera and hasn’t looked back since.

His primary body of work delves into themes rooted in the African Diaspora, body-positivity, self-love (reclamation), and healing… transforming what started off as a creative outlet into a ministry of sorts. He has since participated in various art shows and his work has been published in various publications.

He is currently an active member of the American Society for Composers Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), The Morehouse Alumni Association, a Life Loyal member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity of America, INC, and continues to mentor college students in the Atlanta area.

His motto is “Creativity is longevity.” and weaves this mantra in all facets of life.
